Road Knight

Road Knight is a game about being a warrior in a mad-max style post apocalyptic wasteland cruising along bandit-ridden highways atop your noble steed, a mighty truck.

Repel boarders with fast paced frantic action as you dart around your truck using whatever you can lay your hands on.

Total enemy vehicles with your trucks own weaponry, strategically placed mounted guns or an entire sports store's worth of thrown bats.

Reloading is for cowards, a true knight of the road

Only cowards reload, a true knight of the road hurls his empty piece at one foe, leaps across the cap to his spare and fans the hammer into the other 3.

In between trips customize your own mighty steed in the auto-shops. Assemble a multi-walled rolling fortress,  mounted weapons bristling battle bus, a carefully wired boobytrapped funhouse on wheels or even your own personal mobile thunderdome. 

Defend the wheel, defend the cargo and defend your life in battles where a single blow, a single bullet, a single mistake can be your end.

This prototype contains no tutorial, so one is provided here.

To begin a road-trip and leave the garage go to the truck's steering wheel and hit the interact key(Default: E)

The goal of the road-trip is survive until your truck reaches the safety of the next tunnel. You must keep yourself alive and prevent enemies from destroying your steering wheel. If your steering wheel is taking damage the truck will veer violently around the road.

In between road-trips you have a chance to use the shop to modify your truck. To teleport to the shop walk to the spawn hatch of your truck (the grey tile with a circle and green lights) and hit the interact key(Default: E). 

The shop area contains several colored pads, hitting the interact key over the yellow pad will enter and exit build mode. Hitting the interact key over the blue and purple pads will add quests to ferry cargo for several road-trips, this cargo must be placed on your truck using build mode before you can proceed.

To leave the shop area and return to your truck, hit the interact key while on the spawn-hatch tile in the shop area(grey circle with green lights)

::Combat Tutorial::
Use the fire button to swing or fire whatever weapon you are currently holding.

Pickup weapons from spawners in your truck using the pickup button.

You can throw your current weapon by hitting the pickup button.

You default to using your wrench if you are not holding any weapon. You cannot throw your wrench.

Ranged Weapons cannot be reloaded, throw your empty gun and find another.

You can get on and off mounted weapons by pressing the pickup button while standing over them.

Do not walk onto the road, you will fall off the truck and die.
